Project Description:
This project was a joint effort between the City of La Verne and the Bonita Unified School District and was for the replacement of the football field at the Glenn Davis Stadium. The existing field was a natural grass and had suffered from years of over use, and had long since reached its useable lifecycle. We worked with the city engineer to coordinate the construction effort between the contractors, the city maintenance department, the School districts maintenance department and the local school to ensure that all their needs were met. The project consisted of the removal of the existing field and irrigation systems, Removal of some 500 yards of dirt and debris, Installation of a new drainage system, new synthetic turf system and the replacement of various electrical systems which powered the lights, scoreboards, PA systems and on field power systems. This project was delivered on time and on budget.
