FACILITIES ASSESSMENTS
RMA provides construction consulting and facilities inspection services. These services generally include: Site visits, photographic documentation, estimating, reporting and any other activities.
RMA has developed a comprehensive approach to the inspection and assessment of a variety of facilities. We can provide you with reliable reports on the current state of your facilities along with information showing necessary repairs needed with in the next 5 and 10 years. We also provide estimates of those repairs and can identify important critical or environmentally sensitive areas that may need to be addressed sooner.
Typical facilities assessment services:
- Site, building, & room inventory
- Useful life assessment of major building systems
- Necessary repairs for occupancy
- Annual costs to maintain functionality
- Photo logs of necessary repair items
Building Inventory includes the site area, building descriptions, construction dates, room types & sizes.
Useful Life Assessment of Building Systems charts estimates of years remaining of Structural, Roofing, Exterior & Interior envelopes, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical & Fire and Life Safety systems.
Necessary repairs for occupancy lists deficient building components, or systems, with repair descriptions and cost estimates.
Annual Costs to Maintain Functionality charts the estimated cost to maintain each building over a five year period.
Photo logs of necessary repair items lists specific repair issues.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES of interest to School districts and other Public Agencies:
- Assist Districts & Agencies with the development of 5 year plans.
- Assist Districts in the completion of Expenditure Reports.
- Completion of all forms and reports as required by the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC).
- Assist Districts & Agencies with any other project management services that may be required to receive additional funding from State or Federal programs.
